Dear Client,
We hope you and yours are doing well and staying calm. We know that through 9-11, the 2008 recession and through dozens of hurricanes (or hurricane scares), our community and our country has united, healed, and come out ahead each and every time. We have no doubt that this will happen again. As you are using our services to undergo a very personal crisis, know that our office will remain open and staffed to continue our service to children lucky enough to have a great dad. We are expanding our email response hours and trying to get answers to you sooner than ever. In the meantime, we are also offering our expertise and resources to the entire community of dads by offering free online tools and forms to help them muddle through increased or decreased hours and pay. If you see something that could help a dad in crisis, pass it along.
Please bear with us as hearings are scheduled, moved, and canceled. Most of that shuffling is driven by our Chief Judge and we can only respond and cooperate. We will continue to inform you as soon as we are aware of any changes.
For our healthcare worker dads, you are especially held in our prayers. Tell us how we can help you help those who are sick. For our restaurant/hospitality industry dads, we promise to keep eating out, and to order in when we cannot, and we ask that you please put extra fire under your feet for our first responders who need to be taken care of with hot meals. Lastly, many know that I have a very special place in my heart for our city’s sanitation workers as well, they will be exposing themselves to every germ, virus and bacteria to keep them our of our homes and away from our families. We think of them, too.
Bow up, guys, it will be an ugly ride, but likely one that doesn’t last too long. But however long, we are here for you, and thank you for choosing our firm to help your family.
